Genetically Modified Foods are not as new as we thought they were, although most information claims that it can be devastating to people much of the opposite is amazingly true. Genetically Modified foods are misunderstood by people due to the lack of information or education on the concept. Many researcher have found that most of the most commonly thought problems of genetically modified crops are mainly false. Surprisingly the process of these foods has been around for years. Their use could possibly help food shortages in the future. The so-called harmful issues are harmful other living things. Genetically Modified foods are often misunderstood and therefore mislabeled as bad. Genetically Modified food creation is a process of natural crop breeding, which can bring great benefits for poor places with fewer resources. These things are carefully tested in many countries to make sure the gain the most produce with the least harmful process. These things are often left out when the information is represented by the media due to the large companies and groups backing the television networks causing the media to hide most of this information. Another reason that citizens can be assured that the genetically modified plants are useful is because it has been backed by all the major food agencies from the United States ensuring its safety for the citizens consumption. After understanding and evaluated all these various forms of information it may lead us to wonder, is really any better or are they any safer? But, mainly genetically modified foods are often misunderstood due to what is told my other media sources. Use of pesticides in genetically modified food has also affected the overall environment. If the produce has multiple genes from multiple but different crops it could cause allergic reactions to the consumers. For example, if genes from a corn crop get accidentally mixed with the genes of a crop like soybean or almonds nuts it could create an allergic reaction due to the mix of two different crops, one that the consumer maybe allergic to and not know about since it does not effect the overall look of the crop.
