They work just as hard men now, and maybe even harder. Even though there are some differences there are some glaring similarities and continuities. Men in sport now are glorified for their violent nature, just like in Medieval Times. In some contact sports like football and rugby, men are trained to have that violent prowess that was key in the Medieval Times. To look on the side of women in our current days, women are still able to maintain that beauty expected of them and be exceptional in physical activity. In Medieval Times, women seem to have been required to be beautiful in order to be success or marry a successful man.
