Renewable Energy Sources.

There is a kind of energy that it’s inexhaustible. This means that it’s expected to last for a very long period of time, enough for human life existence. However, this doesn’t mean that it will exist for an eternity. According to Parris, “The prospect of climate change has the world searching for alternatives to fossil fuel to keep our homes warm, our factories humming, and our cars moving”. (Parris). Renewable energy is its name. Currently, the world isn’t getting enough energy from these sources. Before people see its use everywhere (in all around the world), it’s going to take plenty of time. These unlimited founts are used because there are people that want to make a change in the world; they want to see less pollution, less damage to the environment, and less climate changes. People want a better place for living for their children, a better health for each person on the planet, and a green world that give us the possibility of having a longer existence. Mother Nature is generous; it gives us the necessary resources for us to live. Here are four examples of renewable energy sources with advantages and disadvantages.

These are some advantages and disadvantages of solar energy. This energy is an energy obtained from the sunlight, which is a natural resource. The sun, every day, is constantly releasing power that can be used in two different ways: electrical and thermal. This energy source is the cleanest one. It doesn’t generate pollution (not atmospheric emissions); it’s a renewable energy fount, indeed. It needs a little maintenance. Some disadvantages of solar power source are that it only works with sunlight. If we stay for a long time...

...some disadvantages. These types of energy sources aren’t too accessible for people. They have a high cost; and sometimes they may transform the ecosystem. But these renewable energy sources have also many advantages. They are clean energies; so they are good for the atmosphere. Once you pay the charge of the installation and the equipment, you don’t have to worry about monthly payments. Sometimes, it is necessary to expend money for maintenance. In my opinion, the government is not interested in obtaining these renewable energy sources because the government likes businesses; these renewable energy sources are not getting its attention for now. As a result, most of the people in the world don’t have access to these important energy sources.

Renewable Energy: A Bright Future Essay

- In chapter thirteen of our book, Environment by Raven and Berg, it shows us just how important renewable energy sources are. Currently the United States of America thrives on the use of fossil fuels and nuclear power. The main problems with these types of fuel are that they are both limited and can be extremely harmful to our environment. They cause global warming, air pollution, acid rain, and oil spills (Environment), and not only that, but in the grand scheme of things, these sources really aren’t even that cheap of a fuel source....   [tags: Renewable Energy, ]

Essay on Renewable Energy : Renewable Sources

- Our country is currently suffering energy-wise, we have been powering with inefficient sources for years now and the harm that it is doing to the country has started to become apparent. Renewable energy is the only way to stop, or at the very least set back the inevitable downfall of our ecosystem. I think that the next big breakthrough for renewable energy is implementing off-grid communities that use renewable sources as their main sources of power, so that we can potentially escape the energy rut that we got ourselves stuck in....   [tags: Renewable energy, Wind power]

Essay on Renewable Energy Resources For Renewable Sources

- Why do we need to rely on renewable sources. Most of the energy that we use today come from fossil fuels such as natural gas, coal, and oil. All of these resources are non-renewable, it can finish one day. In order to have a better world and a healthy environment for the future, people are trying to obtain energy from natural resources instead of non-renewable sources. In the lecture “Renewable energy resources” (2014), Mistry focuses on some advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy. There are different kind of resources that we can use in order to produce renewable energy....   [tags: Renewable energy, Wind power, Fossil fuel]

What if heating your house was not a simple task that could be done by pressing a button. This could be the case if we continue to use nonrenewable energy resources. The article, Energy Resources states that the use of these resources "is increasing at an unprecedented rate due to the rapid industrialization of a number of formerly third world countries." At this rate, the oil sand and oil shales will undoubtedly be cleared out in the future, along with the coal mines....   [tags: Alternative Energy Sources]
