Education has been considered as a top priority and will continue to be considered as the top most priority, in the growing competition for success. Education is the single greatest gift one can give to oneself. The importance of college education has become far more important today than it was ever before. Fifty years back, college education was only for the elite and upper class people. The average did well in life even without any college education. The importance of college education now has increased to a point where it has become the necessary admission ticket to good jobs and a middle-class lifestyle. The transition into college is a vital and the most critical step in one’s life. In this regard, it is imperative that one performs well through their high school career and starts to plan on what they are going to do after college and which college they would be willing to go to accomplish this. This essay explains in detail the future college plan of an ambitious student who aspires to become a doctor. According to the student, today, the medical profession is one of the noblest professions giving the ultimate job satisfaction. He further details how he is going to pursue his dream profession, and more specifically which university he wants to go to pursue the field of study that he wants to undertake.

It was one of the most challenging tasks the student to pick a university as there were numerous choices out there. Internet websites and search engines were heavily used by the student for all his analysis. Hence the author is convinced that he has picked the right line of study and profession. Further he is sure that UGA will provide him the launching pad for his ambitious future plan. He is confident that with sheer determination, hard-work and dedication he will be able to accomplish his dreams. Hence, the student has decided to focus on the first step of getting into UGA.
