The last century has shown the shifting pattern of wealth of our country to a smaller population that does not include the majority. Not only is 42% of financial wealth in the top 1% of the country but the rates of income gains per year have continually decreased in the last decade. Tightening the financial prosperity of lower classes while the top the top 10% percent continue to see gains and prosper. Growing disparity between our wealth classes will continue to grow unless as a societal change occurs. There must be change to a system that resembles ancient feudalism structures. One that promotes capitalist ventures, but not one that takes wealth squatting to the extreme. As a society, every single person wants more and more wealth with no end in the horizon. Further action is required for this nation to rebuild itself from its massive debts and redistribute its unfair wealth distributions fairly across the country through simple yet conservative reforms that have only recently changed.
Like Medieval times the nobility controlled 90% of their individual nations wealth. Very similar to the situation one may find in our society today. I will attempt to dispel any preconception of our country’s equal wealth distribution in the United States. A staggering 63% of our nation’s net worth is distributed amongst the top 5. While financial wealth is at 72% in the top 5%. In essence 5% of the people in this country control 72% of the countries entire wealth. We must not forget that our nation is based on the ideals that an individual must work hard to attain his own success.
