Frozen is a masterpiece about two sisters who suffer a broken relationship. Frozen premiered on 27 November 2013, and melted the hearts of its audience. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Frozen displays a relationship between two sisters which is strained due to a secret that should not be revealed. The eldest sister Elsa (Idina Menzel), discovers her powers to freeze anything that is touched. Anna (Kristen Bell) is trying to remain in the public eye, while Elsa wants to shield her powers from everyone, including her own sister. Elsa then flees from Arendelle, after causing a scene at a ball after being coronated. Anna then goes on a quest to find Elsa and bring her back to Arendelle to unfreeze the land. Frozen is a spectacular film due to its incredible storyline, popular music, and the amount of humor. Frozen, like all of the Disney films, has an incredible storyline. The plot of Frozen is Anna and Elsa lose their close relationship due to an accident with Elsa’s icy powers. The day of Elsa’s coronation is the day that the gates of the kingdom would be open, and Elsa would have to hide her powers from everybody in order to keep everything going swiftly. Anna brings Hans (Santino Fontana) to Elsa. Anna claims that she and Hans are in love and that they are getting married. Elsa disagrees and it sadly ends up to making Elsa become a danger to the kingdom, causing her (Elsa) to flee. Elsa accidentally freezes Arendelle and the surrounding area, causing a horrible winter like storm. Anna then sees it as her responsibility to bring Elsa to Arendelle and unfreeze the land. During this journey, Anna meets Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his reindeer Sven. In the middle of this journey, Hans is making Arendelle his kingdom and ... ... middle of paper ... ...that snow melts when the temperature rises. Olaf plays with the concept of irony quite well and provides a source of laughter. Kristoff’s reindeer Sven, is also a source of laughter in Frozen, because Sven is Kristoff’s best friend and the duo also sing a song titled “Reindeer Are Better than People”. Such song would commonly be sang by someone who is under the influence of alcohol as the lyrics are just full of witty remarks between a man and his reindeer. Frozen can be seen as a comedy with Olaf and Sven, without the two the film would just be another princess movie. All in all, Frozen is a spectacle that should be enjoyed by everyone. Frozen features a phenomenal storyline, musical success, and humorous elements that make the audience fall to the floor in laughter. Walt Disney Animation Studios has another hit movie and soundtrack to add to the history book.
