Foundation is a liquid for your face that must be the same color as your skin and it is best known as make-up. I asked 8 females how many of them used make-up on a daily basis, and 6 out of those 8 females answered (yes) as in they would use make up on a daily basis. (Interview) Some of those females commented on how difficult it is for them to find a foundation for their skin tone. Many females these days have a huge problem discovering what foundation is best for them. I consider myself one of those females that have trouble finding the right foundation for my skin tone and skin type. Not every brand carries a perfect shade for my skin tone and I do not stay the same skin tone throughout the whole year. The problem I encounter myself with every day on my personal life problem is finding a great foundation that fits my skin. Some foundations make me look too pale or too dark.
Finding the right foundation is not the only problem it is also hard to find the right shade for me. On an interview done with Mally Roncal on the Seventeen magazines she is asked “What's the trick to selecting the right foundation?” Her response was, “When you have a warmer skin tone, you want to make sure you look for concealer and foundation that match your undertones, otherwise you’ll end up looking washed out. To find the perfect shade, you want to match the collarbone—instead of the jawline—which is closer to the shade of your face” (Roncal). It is very important to know where to try the shade of the foundation.

There are many kinds of foundation liquid, translucent powder compact, and creamy foundation. There are also many shades light, medium, and dark. Also for different ski types dry, compensation, and oily skin. Before starting you must wash you face and make sure it is clean after that moisturize you skin. The fist step of the foundation routine is to choose the right shade and type of the foundation that matches your skin. Then, apply your favorite primer. After that apply concealer to conceal dark spots and blemishes. Then apply the foundation to even out your skin tone with a flat top foundation brush to give you a full coverage or with a wet beauty blender sponge to absorb the excess foundation and give you a more natural coverage. Then apply a translucent powder to set your foundation.
