Thunderstorm
Introduction
According to Harding (2011), thunderstorms is dangerous and it has the capabilities to produce severe uneven movement within area of air, low level wind shear, low ceiling and visibility, hails and lightning.
Thunderstorm is convection is developed based on three fundamental atmospheric conditions; warm humid air, a steep vertical temperature gradient where colder air over moist air and an updraft that makes water vapor turns into water droplets which makes the clouds grow even bigger (Keller & DeVechhio, 2010).
Hazards
Formation of thunderstorm is mainly associated with unstable atmospheric condition. It is always noticeable by lightning and followed with thunder (rumbling sound). Lightning is a sudden giant spark with electrical discharge; the electrical discharge in the air is being heated and expands tremendously which resulted in thunder; thriving shock wave.
Lightning is the major threats because it could kill human being as well increase risk to property damage because it is hardly predicted and according to National Disaster Education (n.d) that lightning has killed 75 to 100 people in United States each year also supported by the fact that it kills more people each year than tornadoes. It is hardly predicted because it travels at light speed which is much faster than sound. Thunder is can be heard later than the strike of lightning.
Another hazardous of thunderstorm is rain, rain can fall heavily which may lead to flash flood, it is also one of the deadliest hazards because it happen without warning and basically unpredictable and often occur during the night (U.S. Department of commerce, 1994).

After thunderstorm
Once the thunderstorm is over, examine the area for power lines that might fall on the ground. If there are downed power lines it could bring injuries to human and it is advisable to notify electrical department immediately. It is much safer to stay away from storm damage area as much as possible to minimize the risk of getting hurt.
Conclusion
As a conclusion, every thunderstorm is dangerous as it has several threats that are vulnerable to living things and properties. The threats could be from lightning, flash floods, strong winds and hails that bring damages to properties but also bring harm to living things such as human, animal and vegetation. However, there are many ways to minimize risks if we have take preparedness and safety checklist before, after and during thunderstorm

Tornadoes are powerful and destructive phenomena created in strong thunderstorms. Tornadoes are most common in the United States, and in the U.S., they are common in an area called Tornado Alley. Every year, tornadoes wreak havoc on the countryside, towns, and even cities. The deadliest tornado in U.S. history crossed over three states, destroyed 15,000 homes, and killed almost 700 people. There are only a couple of people on record that claim to have been in and seen the center of a tornado and lived. Does a flash at night makes you shut your eyes and cover your ears? I do. I remember a night of restless sleep, with huge a thunderstorm roaring from outside and I was lying on bed with a fever. It was cold, and because of the voice of thunder I couldn’t stay calm. I was scared and as I tried to peek at the window, an intense lightning bolt flashed, and a clash of thunder followed by. I was horrified and felt something humongous must produce thunder like he is mad. Throughout history, many stories and myth serve a common goal to the listeners. The monsters appear in the stories you heard is a way to teach you a lesson or give warning. From what I learned and read in class, monsters tend to be a thing that we created or fear of. To the Native Indians of United States, Thunderbird is a being that use in stories as a way to explain unique natural phenomenon such as lighting, thunder, and storms.
Then finally, the storm can be bumped up into a hurricane if the winds reach 75 mph. The National Weather Service is constantly trying to provide us with data and other information about when and where hurricanes are forming. It has been said that the only way to reduce the number of fatalities in serious storms is to give people more warning time for them to go to a safer place. Many times in hurricanes people are told to evacuate their city or state. The more time that people have to do this, the more that people will do this.
Environmental conditions play a vital part in aviation as a whole. Much planning goes into a flight based on the current and forecast weather conditions for safety reasons. Accidents have occurred due to flying in bad weather such as thunderstorms with low level wind sheer, lightning, hale, icing conditions and poor visibility. Poor weather especially icing can be very dangerous to flight but most accidents can be avoided if the right precautions are taken to avoid potential bad weather situations. I will take a closer look at icing conditions on aircraft and give examples of icing related accidents
In the hurricane the mixture of the water and winds can be extremely damaging. The winds are extremely dangerous and usually don’t go faster than about 75 miles per hour but have been documented to go as fast as 85 miles per hour. Due to the fact that hurricanes need water to survive they cannot go too far on land, but that does not stop them from causing billions of dollars in damages. Hurricanes are so dangerous that they were listed number 1 on the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Hazard and Disasters list.
Since storm chasing was established back in 1960’s, Only 7 storm chasers have died during the chase and only three were actually caused by the tornado they were chasing. Even though storm chasing can be deadly, the risks storm chasers and meteorologists take are not high if handled responsibly and are justified by the lives they save.

Tornado safety and preparedness are key to protecting your loved ones during a tornado. So far, there has been no evidence that tornadoes pick up objects and move them to Oz, but we do know they can lift enormous objects and cause billions of dollars in damage.
