When you see the Texas flag waving over your head what is the first thing that pops into your mind? Maybe, it reminds you of the day we won our independence or it could simply remind you of the Lone Star Flag. Our flag could remind us of a lot of symbolic views no matter how you view them. No matter what circumstances they may be our Texas flag is very significant to the state of Texas! In the article “Flag Poll” by Steve Chapman he portrays this view very strongly and even exaggerates of how Texans rave of how remarkable the Texas flag truly is.

He also addresses that some people in the other states are not proud of their state flag, but in Chapman’s article all the other forty-nine states recognize the Texas flag and even know how to draw the flag. Than we would not be given the title of being super-patriotic anymore but more being represented as the state of Texas and that we are a free nation. Texans would be considered just like any other people and just be another state that feels honored by their state flag. There would be no more of which state has the better design, emblem, and nationality. Every state flag would equal the same and the differences of the state flags would not exist anymore. All of the states would be one and come together and know how important their flags truly
