Using Sarin Nerve gas is a huge human rights violation. The citizens have no choice but to breathe in the chemical and die, or not breathe and eventually die. Sarin is considered one of the most deadly agents to use in chemical warfare. It is considered “20 times more deadly that cyanide. When the gas was released it is most likely the citizens had no idea that they were getting exposed to this chemical because it is odorless, tasteless and
The war in Syria has been going on for six years now, killing more than a quarter million people and forcing over 10 million people to leave their homes. It has started with a peaceful protest and is now a full on genocide of people dying. The protest was for the arrest and torturing of Syrian teens for the graffiti of their anti government on a wall. When people form other people that were tired of the government saw this, they wanted their president to make major reforms of their democracy. He didn't like that, so he responded with a violent reaction. He killed thousands of Syrians and more from starvation. As the war went on, more people came in to play a role in the war. These people were from many different places. It has gotten so bad that politicians don't know what to do to stop it.
The two chemical weapons that were used were: nerve agent and mustard gas. Nerve agent has two main classes that are Class G and Class V. Class V is more new, however less fatal. The specific nerve agent used by the Iraqis is Cyclosarin. Cyclosarin is an extremely toxic substance used as a chemical weapon, which is a member of Class G. Cyclosarin is the most dangerous gas out of both classes. It is known to have a sweet smell and is also flammable unlike other nerve gases. Mustard gas on the other hand is yellow and smells like garlic. Both gases cause death in minutes and have long lasting effects. These can include diseases and other horrible problems. Many of these diseases cannot be cured, for the cells have been damaged and cannot be repaired.

France currently is at the fourth stage of the demographic transition graph, which means that it is well urbanized, literacy of France population is relatively high, and the medication level is high as well. According to the CIA website’s factbook, 100% of the France population have the access to the sanitation facilities, and there are 6.4 beds per 1000 people. However, Syria is only at the second stage of the graph, so the medical level in Syria is far lower than France. For instance, instead of 100% of the population, Syria has only 92% of its population that are able to access to the sanitation facilities; furthermore, the hospital bed density is only 1.5 beds for 1000 people. As for the education or the literacy in the two countries, France has the school life expectancy of 16 years, but Syria only has 12 years, so as the result, there are only 85% of the total population in Syria can write and read. But in France, this number is over 99%. (CIA
The first poison gas used in battle was chlorine at the start of the Second Battle of Ypres on April 22, 1915 by the Germans. Shortly after, followed the photo. The effects of these gases were ghastly. Chlorine was the most deadly as "within seconds of inhaling its vapor, it destroys the victim's respiratory organs, bringing on choking attacks" (Duffy). Phosgene had similar effects, except for the fact that the effects started kicking in after 48 hours of inhalation.
The uneven amount of unfairness in Syria is fueling the violence. The reasons why Syria started a war because there were not much freedom, unemployment, widespread corruption, etc.
The initiation of the Syrian War was heavily influenced by the (what was supposed to be a peaceful) protest. As well as the many deaths of the Syrian citizens. These conflicts helped citizens realize all the issues that were going on at the time. There were many causes for the violence that went on during the Syrian Civil War. It can be inferred that the three main aspects that fueled the violence of the Syrian War were due to foreign influence, sectarian opposition, and conflicts between opposing groups.
The authoritarian regimes of the Middles cycled through a pattern of anti-western policy until the globalization effects of economics and information demanded reform. As conservative Arab states try to maintain the autocracy they relied on after gaining independence, their citizens, affected by information and education expansion, challenge their resistant governments as typified by Syria’s unwillingness to capitulate. The proliferation of information and education underscored the protest movements of the Arab Spring because citizens’ contempt for their obstinate governments grew to large under economic pressures, as the current situation in Syria demonstrates.

The Syrian conflict started in 2011, and most people asking way all this killing happening, well the answer is because the government started use a harmful method to stop the protest that inspired by the Arab spring. An attack on the Syrian state would fall within the boundaries of the international concept of the responsibility to protect. The crisis in Syria has escalated by protests in March 2011 calling for the release of all political prisoners. National security forces responded to widespread peaceful demonstrations with the use of brutal violence. The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad refused to stop attacks and allow for implementation of the reforms requested by the demonstrators. By July 2011, firsthand accounts emerged from witnesses, victims, and the media that government forces had subjected innocent civilians to detention, torture, and the use of heavy weaponry. The Syrian people were also subjected to the Shabiha, a largely armed state sponsored militia fighting with security forces. Al-Assad continually denied responsibility to these crimes and placed blame on the armed groups and terrorists for these actions.
