In today’s hectic and busy life we find ourselves dealing with stress almost every day. According to some studies we get 50,000 to 80,000 thoughts per day and the sad part is most of these thoughts are negative, unproductive or simply monotonous. Such thoughts play a greater part in causing stress and depression, influence productivity levels and affect our feeling. In brief, they upset the quality of life.
Stress in small amounts is an essential component of our daily life. It gives us the ability to think and act quickly in the situations that require immediate actions. In limited amounts stress also enhance concentration and performance abilities. However, when stress persists throughout the day it takes the shape of a chronic stress which has highly adverse effects on our mental and physical health. Moreover, it seizes our peace of mind which is a necessity for effectiveness, productivity and a pleasant life.
