Recommended: Importance of careers related to sports

I am an innovative senior student of the Northeastern University and currently pursuing my graduation in Finance major. I am an international student hailing from China and have been in the United States for the past 5 years. I have finished my first co-op at NextGen Realty for five months, from July 2013 to December 2013, developing my skills as a marketing intern. I will complete my graduation by the end of the spring semester in 2015. Once I complete my graduation, I am planning to go back to my country. I am pretty sure the recent growth in my country’s economy will open the path for me to start my own career in my hometown with the kind of specialization I would achieve in my field-Finance.
I am a social person who enjoys life in the best way possible. During my leisure time, I keep myself busy by indulging in various activities in my areas of interest. My favorite pastime sport is baseball. Sometimes, I go outing to pleasant locations to spend my spare time to get some relaxation out of my busy schedule. I joined the Chinese Students and Scholars Association on the campus and I am currently holding the role of the minister of liaison in the organization. My zeal to prosper in my career and life has led me to set up my own company, just a month ago. I have set up a food delivery company, which takes orders and delivers food upon ordering from the website.
I chose my major as finance because finance plays a crucial role in building up a healthy economy of a country. Finance impacts each and every individual, regardless of whether or not they have studied finance as a discipline. There are various opportunities in public sector, public administration and investment areas. Opportunities are also open in the field of Securities and Public Finance.
The preference of gaining employment in a particular job depends upon each individual’s personal choice. Depending upon the field of interest, it is obvious that different individuals chose different career. If asked personally, I would let you know that I want to set up my own business where I would be the boss and have the chance to provide employment to various highly talented unemployed young aspirants. I can make efficient decisions in my company to expand its business and lead to the growth of my company into a powerful organization in the global market.
