It was more important for married women to stay at home to do the housing work, and they were not allowed to go to work. Therefore, in the 20 century, women complained about the inequality between men and women in both socially and politically. For many years, women have struggled gaining the equal right with men because their opportunity and basic rights were taken when they were born. For example, women should not eat with men in the same table back in the 19th century, and women have their responsibility on all of the house works. The term feminism means that the belief and doctrine aim that women should have the same rights, power and opportunities as men. Feminist campaign has successfully changed the women’s suffrage and pay salaries for women, and women got to vote after WWII.
