Every family has different values and how every family is different. From the time I was little till now I never really understood the meaning of the word family values. I think of it as two things family and then values; family is basically the people I live with. The people that support them and love them, even their parents and siblings and other adults that live there. Values are what we have but family value put together is values that are traditionally learned or relearned within a family, for example those of high moral standards and discipline.
Family values are different from other values from them having a connection with our family like only our family does it and live off by it. Also it can be passed down from generation to generation in our family, they can make up our behavior, help us make the right choices. For my family, we have family values like social values we have to stand up for ourselves, be honest and respectful. My parents never really thought me to respect the elders I always heard it from growing up. My parents hardly taught me much, I always heard about it from growing up.
Some other values my family has is we used to have religious values when we were growing up but not really anymore. ... going a long way from learn and calming my anger down also not get angry and loud and just yell at everyone like I still do a lot. Every other family probably do this or something similiar to this. I am pretty sure every parents wants their kids to stay out of trouble and make something out of themselves.
I have morals in my life so does everyone else, yes I learn from all of it. But a lot of the times I fail to do them like I don’t always tell the truth like I should, one of my biggest pet peeve is if you’re not respectful to me I can’t be pleasant to them. I understand why people fight and lie and be rude to others it won’t get them anywheres, treat others the way that they want to be treated. And if they can’t obey that then that should give them a sign that they should conference with them. All this deals with to sum it up is every family values are different.
