The Extravagance of Becoming a Writer Nicolas Sparks over time has become a very popular, well known, amazing, writer. Although Nicolas Sparks had never planned to become a novel writer, he committed to writing, because he could see the positive impact his books had in people’s lives. Nicholas Sparks was born in December of 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the middle child of his siblings and the son of Patrick Sparks, a college professor, and Jill Sparks, a stay at home mother. Nicholas grew up in the world with his parents living on a very slim budget, he writes.

The main reason why his writing is similar in the storyline topic is because he is inspired by many people from his family and close friends who have passed away or have gone through huge adversities. He has had many tragedies in life. He went through losing his mother, father, and sister to death, yet he has hope through the hard times, and he wants to give his readers that same hope. Most of the main themes of his writing includes family, friendship, love, pain, and tragedy. Most of his novels carry a glace of hope within it, even when there is much pain, suffering, and tragedy, he always shows a gleam of light to help his readers to get through their tragedies. Most of Nicholas Sparks’ writing is outstanding, but a couple of the most important writings of his would have to be his books “The Notebook” and “The vow. Even though they both are different story lines, they do have similarities in the love area, the part of commitment in the characters care and love for their spouse.
