Every time someone asks, “who are you?” You would generally tell them your name and end it right there, but that is not the whole story. Your name is only a mere blip in the universe of our minds and can change if you would like it to. In order to tell who you really are is to go deeper, looking at small pieces or the boulder size pieces that come together like a puzzle. It creates a work of art that is one of kind. That is, you. It was not until recently that I found a piece of who I am. I was out with some friend that wanted to go to “the cliff” and I will admit, I was a little scared because I did not know what they were talking about. When I hear the word cliff, I think of the Grand Canyon and the long drop to the bottom, a thousand foot wall that you cannot see the bottom to. But I agreed to go. We hiked maybe a mile up a road and through woods to come to this small outcrop of rocks looking over the reservoir. Working here has made me realize that I want to work with kids later on in live to but also helping them. I set a goal a few years back that I am going to do everything in my power to keep in that way and I am sticking to it. I want to be a nurse that works in the neonatal intensive care unit where I can work with the babies but also help them. It will be a long, rough, bumpy road but I am willing to do it. Being able to watch them grow and get off the vents and gadgets if they can, and helping the families if they can’t. At the same time, I want to work in the Emergency Room and be in all the action and gore while working my way to the NICU. It’ll take time and energy but I am willing to give my all to get there. I won’t stop until I do. If I want it, I am going to get no matter how hard it is along the way. It’s part of
