Let me start out by saying that evangelism, is not a program or a method, it’s real life. Often when we think about Evangelism we get the picture of going door-to-door, setting up a tent, going on the street corner and etc. Some of these are some good ways to reach people, but the things that should matter the most is the heart. One of God’s greatest desires is too spend his life with people eternity. I don’t want to get in the word to deep at the moment, but we do need to teach where the word come from.

Evangelism is the proclamation, announcement and preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel, I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,” (Paul, 2007, 1 Cor 15:1-4)....

The goal of all Christians should be converting the people they encounter. If we do not make an effort to share the faith, then we are not fulfilling the command of the Savior Himself (Matt....   [tags: Christianity, Jesus, Evangelism]
