A school generally has several rules about behavior, dress code, homework, and more.

Existing guidelines already exist for students and staff to follow; failure to do so can result in

detention, suspension, or expulsion. However, adding an Ethics Code of Conduct is very similar

to the pre-existing rules, with occasional exceptions as some issues can be seen differently from

unique perspectives. Nonetheless, I would sign the Ethics Code of Conduct, if it were to be

implemented, for several reasons. One, it states and protects the rights, whatever they may be, of

the people of the school. Each person has the same rights as others, so there is no discretion

against race, gender, religion, and age. Two, it would offer the means to solutions normal rules

created. Representing the image of being diligent and original helps lead and guide later

generations into doing the same things.

To conclude, and school ethics code of conduct would greatly assist the community. The

code would set the lines between right and wrong, protect the rights of the people of the school,

and establish proper behaviors for society. In all, ethics represent our respect for others and

ourselves. Following the rules sets examples for others and balances situations. Being

representative and academically honest preserves the goodwill of the creator and rewards

originality. And freely offering, sharing, speaking, expressing the thoughts and ideas that

represent one’s past, future, and present progresses the community and paves the road for

tomorrow.
