In short, communication in an organization is paramount to the company code of ethics because the communication by the person’s represent the company and the company is often judge by the person’s communication which may be positive, negative, or unethically. For the most part, communication in organizations is being brought to the fore front of some companies’ code of ethics because ethical dimensions of organizational communication are therefore also a growing area of concern in the discipline (Neher, W. W. Sandin, P.J., 2007, p. 253).

In today’s society, the public is often concern about the dangers of a lack of some organizational ethics. The public concerns can be related to communication which is lay at the crux of some of the latest organizations that has been caught in the last several years (Neher, W. W. Sandin, P.J., 2007, p. 253). For the most part, organizations internally and externally realized that some stake holders believe that they may have some issues of communication ethics. In reality, business communicators worldwide engage in activities that affect the lives of millions of people (The IABC Code of Ethics, para. 1).
