Ethical Decision As a brand manager at a large food manufacturer I am facing the dilemma where I am in charge of arranging the launch of a new product into the highly competitive "healthy" snack market. I have to decide whether to send or delay this product launching due to some health side effects and safety concerns. On the other hand there is another company who is our leading competitor that is also in the process of launching similar product. Because the product is advertised as healthy product food, consumers could not trust and would not buy our products anymore. From the utilitarian ethical point of view the question is would I, as the manager, take the risk to launch the new product as soon as possible because our employees and the whole company stakeholders involved are dependent on the success of this product launch. Healthcare ethics is defined as a system of moral principles that guide healthcare workers in making choices regarding medical care. At its core lies our attitudes regarding our personal rights and obligations we have to others. When an unprecedented situation comes into play, we rely on medical ethics to help determine an outcome that would be the best case scenario for all involved. In order to appropriately review this case study, we must first identify the key stakeholders, the ethical principles, policy implications at the federal, state, and local levels, financial implications, and a viable resolution for the situation.

Facing a life changing Ethical Dilemma Over the past ten years I have been faced with many ethical dilemmas. One in particular stands out to discuss with others. It has taken many years to come. In 2008, I went through a breakup that had many different options and a range of emotions, all at the same time. I lost the love of my life, my children’s father and my friend.
The second option would be to increase the pay of the other employee’s to Jeff’s pay. This would be an ethical thing to do, but it is not necessarily the most logical. If John decided to increase their pay, it may help in the short term with increasing morale and getting the employees to work harder, but this could cause some financial issues in the long run. John’s company may not be able to withstand all of these pay increases for a long period of time and some of the employees get pay increases, all of the employees might demand one.

Many people have different views of what ethical behavior is. Ethical behavior is defined as “Acting in ways consistent with what society and individuals typically think are good values. Ethical behavior tends to be good for business and involves demonstrating respect for key moral principles that include honesty, fairness, equality, dignity, diversity and individual rights (Ethical behavior, 2016).” In this paper, I explored ethical decision making with examples. In addition, I discuss how ethical decision making benefits from a Christian worldview.
