The proponents of contracting out assume that outsourcing in the IT sector is useful in strategic, technological, and economic reasons. (Gonzalez, Gasco & Llopis, 2009) They believe that outsourcing enables an organization to get the same or better services with lower cost. First, strategic advantages enable organizations to refocus on strategic and core functions, and provide flexibility for organizations because organizations need not to concern about routine tasks (Gonzalez, Gasco & Llopis, 2009). OPPGA (1998) also support these strategic advantages. It asserts that outsourcing can provide organizations with great flexibility in personnel and facilities in short-term projects. Outsourcing providers can provide better services for clients since they usually use new and developed technologies. Second, proponents think that outsourcing gives organizations opportunities to access to technology and reduce technological obsolescence without large investments (Gonzalez, Gasco & Llopis, 2009). Lastly, Pros assume that contracting out can save s...

Everybody is looking for prospects, clients and customers. In this challenging new economy you need every advantage you can get, especially in business. It is one of the crucial things that company should have as it is an advantage over competitors gained by offering consumers greater value providing greater benefits of product. 673), retention management must be based on three types of turnover, voluntary, discharged, and downsizing. Not all businesses are freighted by turnovers, for some it is the way of life and cost is built into the budget. However, for others any type of high turnover can be detrimental for company profit, employee wage and benefits offered. First, let’s take a look at voluntary and involuntary turnover that affects retention. Voluntary turnovers are caused by many different reasons. Turnover may result from topics such as job dissatisfaction, job mismatching, knowing that job opportunities are plentiful. Two reasons that I will discuss more are micromanagement and employee loyalty. Like stated before in the introduction, when employees are dissatisfied, possibly due to being placed in an area that doesn’t fit with their skill set, one is more likely to seek new employment. Another part of turnover is discharging and downsizing. Discharge is just that, members being discharged due to discipline and job performance. While downsizing turnover is a result of business being overstaffed (Heneman III, Judge, Kammeyer-Mueller, 2015, pg. 675). There are also other reasons for voluntarily employee turnover, such as generation differences when it relates to employment. The current generations are more likely to see a job as one piece in their life puzzle rather than as the first, indispensable anchor piece without

Training is an integral part of any organization’s development and is an ongoing process. Training programs will vary according to the position held within a company. “Training is a learning experience that seeks a relatively permanent change in individuals that will improve their ability to perform on the job” (DeCenzo & Robbins, 2007, p. 223, para. 1). Good organizations can be linked with the training and development of good employees. Any organization’s success in growth and innovation is dependent upon the talent, motivation, and leadership of its employees. Efforts made to recognize the value of each employee and the job he or she performs will contribute to a workplace environment that inspires, supports, and rewards employee development.
