At times of boredom I usually decide in watching the kings of all clowns, yes I go to youtube and watch another George Bush speech. This time the speech I watched was perhaps his funniest of all time. It was ridiculous, people were even questioning weather his mom dropped him when he was born and some people are even losing faith in god refusing to believe that our creator could of made that big of a mistake. Our aim is a democratic peace a peace founded upon the dignity and rights of every man and woman”. United fruit was a huge cooperation that owned plantations in Colombia, Costa Rica,Cuba, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Santo Domingi, and in Panama. Arbenz the president of Guatemela promised his people that he would help the poor dig out of their struggle and spoke about a land reform program. Perkins explains how United Fruit would never allow anything like that to happen since they owned 70% of the land, the CIA arranged a coup and removed Arbenz from power by using military force. A democratic leader was removed because of a big cooperation that didn’t want to lose economic strength.
