About UDL from Universal Design for Learning is a strategy that should be used in both inclusionary classroom and general education classrooms alike. Universal design for learning is especially important because all scholars are different. Each scholar has different skills, and each scholar wants to learn about different things. Scholars also learn in different ways, for this reason Universal Design for Learning can be an effective method to utilize within all classrooms because it focuses on making learning accessible to all scholars. There are three main ways that Universal Design for Learning is applied to scholars: through recognition networks, through strategic networks, and through affective networks. One way to implement Universal Design for Learning to scholars is through making material accessible through multiple means of representation. The first guideline in order to do this is to provide options for perception. In order to do this, an educator can provide different means of presenting the information to the scholars such as visual, auditory, or kinesthetically. On the other hand, educators can also work through mediums that are easily adaptable such as making the text larger or the audio louder; this presents a great way to help students who may have either visual or hearing impairments. The second guideline is to provide options for mathematical expressions or symbols. The third guideline is to provide options for comprehension.
