Kohlberg has six different stages of Moral Development. Stage one talks about Obedience and Punishent. Stage Two talks about Self-interest orientation.Stage Three Talks about Interpersonal accord and conformity. Stage Four talks about Authority and social-order maintaining orientation. Stage Five talks about Social Conflict. Stage Six talks about Universal ethical principles. The first level of moral thinking is that generally found at the elementary school level. This starts out at a younger age were you are told to do some kinda of action by a higher authiroty. Good example would be like a parent or teacher. This is Obedience. The dictionary describes it as an act or instance of obeying. If one usally does not obey there is always some type of punishment in the end result. This stage of Kohlberg theory is one of the main moral in life. Without out this the world today would be full of people not wanting to do what there told by there higher authority.
