I cannot disagree more with statements such as
'these are just numbers, they mean nothing’. I believe that most if not all things around us can be quantified. Confounders might obscure them, but there are underlying patterns that are waiting to be unraveled and can help make this world a better place. This passion to uncover insights hidden within data using the latest advances in technology and contribute in my own way to the betterment of the society, motivated me to pursue a career in a field that has the culmination of both science and technology – data science. Also, the industry today is strategy driven; I want to be a decision maker in it, who uses the power of data to guide businesses into making better decision based on more than just intuition. Based on an initial exposure to analytics and strong interest in the topic, this program will be a perfect stepping-stone to railing my long-term aim of becoming a top executive in the Industry.
