Approximately, 130 nations manufactured cotton during 2000, and it is projected that the crop was planted on 2.5 percent of the globe’s arable land zone, enabling it to become one of the most crucial in terms of land use after food grains and soybeans. In developing nations, like the United States, it accounts for approximately three percent of the total crop area. Cotton is manufactured for different reasons such as meeting people's basic wants and needs, distributing to achieve foreign exchange, or manufacturing textiles for exports. Cotton is a good cash resource for millions of farmers.

The El Tamarindo was the largest place to stay, but there were a variety of hotels to choose from, including a "Best Western." Costa Rica had a magic that could be found almost nowhere else in the world. While I was there I met so many people and had many experiences that I will never forget. Furthermore another example why Florida gets lots of money from avocados is because ¨Florida avocado industry is worth upwards of 35 million dollars per year¨(P.Brooks,personal communication,2014).The reason why Florida avocado industry is worth 35 million dollars is because ¨80 percent of the crop is sold outside the state so the industry brings in a substantial amount of money¨(A.Hodges,personal communication¨). In conclusion Florida gets a lot of money from avocados. The area known as Andalusia or more commonly the Costa del Sol is the heart of Spain's tourist industry. Malaga and Nerja are two of the biggest areas of tourism.
