Most movies that have college life in them have bad teachers or college students parting. Like in the movie 21 and Over. It’s about a group of college buddies that are all meeting up, one of them is just turning 21 so they go out to party, so bad things happen because they are drunk. Our the movie The Blindside its about a real life story of how Micheal Oher made it into NFL football. He had to work hard on his grade so he could get into college football. In the movie 21 and Over the whole movie is partying and you never see people studying or writing papers for college. Because with my college schedule I would not have anytime to go and party without failing out of college.
Some college movies show a lot of partying and they never show people working on papers for class or framing for a big test. It’s mostly a show most of it is not real. But it’s showing that you don't need to work hard to get through college. In 21 and Over College buddies meet up and go out a party with their friend Jeff. It’s his twenty-first birthday and it starts out ok and they are drinking a little, but the buddies plans are to get Jeff Blindingly drunk. They forget he had an interview in the morning for a very important job and they can’t remember where Jeff lives. He is so drunk that he does not know whats up from down so he was no help. The whole movie is them partying and then trying to get Jeff back home so he can make it to the interview or his dad will disown him. The movie is fake it said that in the reading about the movie it said the movie was fake and not real and that it was made by the people that made the movie the hangover. But some college students could think its real and could get very hurt or fail out of college.

...t I need from one of my friends that are in the class. So in college you have to actually go to the class to pass with good grades. Some of my classes being in class they give you point toward your grade and it helps. It easy to get the point you just have to show up.
In my conclusion some people see college students as party animals and that they don't have to do their school work, but thats in the movies it's not real. Real college students do the work if they want to go far. Yes, there is some college students like to party a lot but they learn real fast what happens when they don't do their work their grades go down and it hurts them badly. So must students have a part time job and are full time college students they work hard to get where they want to be college is a lot of work. It’s not easy college is not like the movies out there its way different.
Also a big point that most students like to attend to high school is because of prom and all the fun activities they do at their senior year. As a college student you stop caring about things like that and start caring more about getting excellent grades at school so you could graduate. now that you have greater responsibilities you would not always have free time as other normal high school student indeed you would most likely have projects or homework during the weekends or during the breaks. Number one rule in the book is “go to class always.” Many students used to go to school because their parents force them to. However, in college, students have the choice to attend the class or not. Some courses don’t have attending policy, so they won’t count students who where absent. This makes student feel more freely to whether attend class or not. Students usually skip classes because they pretend that they are tired or they want to go to a shopping mall. It is very easy to skip a class and give excuses, such as I was in the hospital, I made an accident, or I need to study for a final exam. After skipping a class, students go and take notes from other students who attended and class and copy them. However, this will affect them in their exams because they won’t get high grade as students who attend classes.
Let's face it, going to college is socially prestigious. Most people go to college only for the title of being called a college student. " For some young people, it is a graceful way to get away from home and become independent without losing the financial support of their parents." (Bird 484) They do not want to be looked down upon so they do what would look best in the eyes of society. It is practically beat into our heads that in order to be a productive citizen of society, you should have some sort of college education. Being a college student is perhaps a more respectable role than being, for example, a janitor or a garbage man because of the negative connotations such jobs receive.

First of all, many high school graduates cannot handle college. Isabel V. Sawhill and Stephanie Owen describe college as a place, “one can obtain a traditional four-year bachelor’s degree”. The work load outside of the classroom could be compared to working a full time job. For example, if a student is enrolled in four college courses and is in class a minimum of four hours the student should spend at least four to six hours of studying. Most students are introduced to a whole new world when coming to college. For many, it is the first time they are on their own. College is a very different culture than high school. It takes time for most students to get acclimated to the college lifestyle. During a college student’s years at college they will partake in situations they never dealt with before. Most have never been to parties that last till about 4am with all the alcohol they can drink. A lot are also not used to having to share a bedroom with one or more persons, the heavy work load in the classrooms, and for some actually paying school tuition. The day to day college life is different for majority of first time college students.
People say it is worthless and a waste of money to have their children attend college especially if they are still immature and only care about partying and getting as they say “Turnt up”. There are many demands placed upon high school students. For example, high school students are obligated, or rather forced by law to attend school until the age of eighteen and they are required to do and turn in their homework. Even if you fail a class, students are required to take that class over until they pass; students have no choice, they must do the work or go to summer school. They are required to be a full time student, which means they have to take the necessary classes each semester, which usually consists of six to eight classes. However, there are few demands in college. The number one demand in college is that a student must pay their tuition on time. College students possess the right to decide if they want to show up for class or not. They can fail a class and not make it up and they do not have to turn in their homework if they do not feel like it. There is no law stating that a college student must attend class, be a full time student, turn in homework and pass each class. To a college student, the demand of attaining a higher education or graduating is completely up to that person.
Here is where the real fun part should be labeled. A person should have fun in college. He or she shouldn’t just be cooped up in a room to rot and do school work. That isn’t fun, or at least not for a majority of people. College should not be a memory of you sitting in a giant room filled with a bunch of other random kids that you have no idea who they are. That was high school. We have to put on our big boy pants and actually do something more entertaining than work. You are going to do it for the rest of your life, don’t waste that fun that you could have by doing nothing but study. It is unfair to a student to be forced into a slavery like cycle that will never end. The professors at the college should know that better than anybody. They have already gone through it. Why do they still assign just as much homework? Probably because they have all become sadist in their line of work, but we should all be willing to overlook that. Maybe invited them to your next party. Give them a break from their job. You should realize how key having fun is in college; if your memories aren’t happy, why should you remember them at all? And without all that publicity that your students will give your college, that just means more money for the college. A new experience, a change from the norm, looking out for myself, and living on my own: for me this is college. The transition of high school student to college seemed immensely overwhelming and even a bit scary. The shift opened a can of worms and created challenges, both good and bad, behind every corner. Due to the change of scene, I am now dealing with the everyday acceptance of the greater world around me: the town, the people and my new life.
