1.0 INTRODUCTION Milton Friedman is a professor of economics at the University of Chicago and one of the world’s leading proponents of the free market. Milton Friedman an American economist and statistician best known for his strong belief in free - market capitalism. Besides that, he is strongly opposed the views of Keynesian economists, encouraging governments to minimize their involvement in the economy by reducing taxes and ceasing inflationary policies. Based on other research Friedman established himself in 1945 with income from Independent Professional Practice, coauthored with Simon Kuznets. The licensing procedures for Friedman are limited entry into the medical profession, thereby allowing doctors to change higher fees than they would be able to do the competition. Other than that Friedman wrote the most important economics book of the 1960s. This for realize and make sure the relatively free markets to a general audience. Friedman was argue at many thing, such as a volunteer army, freely floating exchange rates, abolition of licensing of doctors, a negative income tax and Education vouchers. Besides that, Milton Friedman played three roles in the intellectual life of the twentieth century. Friedman is the economist’s, he is the person that wrote technical, more or less apolitical analyses of consumer behavior and inflation. Moreover, Milton Friedman’s effectiveness as popularize and propagandist rested in part on his well-deserved reputation as a profound economic theorist.
