A Zoologist is someone who studies the behavior, origins, genetics, diseases and life progression of animals and wildlife. (sokanu) Zoologists are required to at least have a bachelor's degree in either zoology, ecology, wildlife biology, biology or more. There are 4 steps to a Zoologist; the first step is to earn a Bachelor’s Degree.
Some bachelor's degrees allow you to specialize in a specific field while others are more generalized. Some regular courses are math, physics, general biology, and chemistry. The biology requirement can be divided into different courses. But if you specialize in a specific field these are the normal options to take: Animal Behavior, Ecology, Marine biology, zoo aquarium science, or genetics. The next step is to get employed. With this step you can enter a graduate program right after getting your Bachelors or have your bachelors and get a job. The third step is to earn a Graduate Degree.
