One of the largest debates in the world of console gamers is which console is actually better, the Xbox360 or the PlayStation3? People can argue everything from power, to hardware, to even personal preference. This debate goes much further than just what each console consists of and most of the time comes down to consumer loyalty. People tend to choose something and stick with it whether it is better or worse than its competitors such as the fight over Apple or Microsoft or Ford vs. Chevy. Factoring in consumer loyalties will get any debate or comparison nowhere so in order to create an accurate comparison all biases and facts based on feeling must be discarded. This isn’t a debate over what is better based on usage but more of a debate of quality using statistics and solid facts about hardware and speed. Basic things such as number of sales, cost of consoles, and basic attributes need to be looked at and are a big factor in quality but aren’t the only thing. There are larger things such as compatibility, hardware such as GPU and CPU, and also features that increase gaming ability. Most likely with only being a year apart in release and having multiple new updates and even models it will come down to them being almost the same, at least in the eyes of the consumers.
Starting with the PlayStation3 or the PS3 for short, it is the product of Sony Corporation and is a 7th generation console. The PS3 was first released in Japan on 11th of November in 2006 and in the US on 17th of November in 2006. The Xbox 360 is a product of Microsoft and is also a 7th generation console. ... quality than that of the Xbox360. But there are more things than just pure performance that weigh a person’s vote. In a world such as this there is a high emphasis on user loyalty and even if an item isn’t as good people will still choose it if they have a history with it.

Many people agree that Sony’s Playstation 4 is better than Microsoft’s Xbox One and vice versa. I have been gaming since I was seven years old and still am today. The first gaming console I ever had was the original Xbox. Throughout the years though, technology has improved vastly. The last generation of game consoles gave the industry a much needed boost and gave the consumer another commodity. With the eighth generation of consoles just arriving, a lot of people are wondering which console to buy. There is, however, more than just the choice of games. There’s differences in processors, graphics cards, hard drives, design, operating systems, ports, versatility, stability, controllers, and, of course, the games.
The next generation of video consoles, the Xbox 360 (2005) and PlayStation 3 (2006), featured still greater integration of proprietary gaming networks and consoles. There are many different types of XBox games. The most famous X Box games are known as X Box 360, XBox Live, and XBox One. It is one of the popular game in the world.
There are few things on the minds of gamers more then the current console wars between the PS4 and the Xbox One. This time, the field is nearly level on the hardware front and the services offered are very close. The devices are very similar but there are some obvious differences. Microsoft and Sony have different end games in mind and their products reflect those philosophic differences. It is in the fine details that the differences will emerge.
In this day and age, a massive number of people own gaming consoles, while some people are willing to buy one, probably either a Playstation 4 (PS4) or the Xbox One. What console buyers don’t know is that not all consoles suit their needs or suits their personalities. I strongly believe that the brand new PS4 would come in first against its rival, the Xbox one As a result of the technology that today’s developers have in hand for us, the PS4 is phenomenal in terms of graphics, it possesses handy and easy to use features and it is particularly made for entertainment.
Do you or any of your friends play video games on a console? If you ask gamers the question, “gaming console you like the most?” they will probably say Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Xbox and PlayStation are known as the most popular gaming consoles of all the time. These two consoles have been competing for a very long time for the throne of the best game console since 2001 until now. In this article, we are going to find out which console has the best advertisement, We are going to determine this not by the console’s hardware, not by its cool features, and not by what exclusive games they have. It is because to grade the games and features are good or bad is kind of difficult because everyone can has different games
The Xbox is priced at $299 which is the same price its toughest competitor offers Sony. Microsoft basically offers a better quality product for the same price.
The first thing to think about when choosing to buy a console is the type of hardware is used for that console. Both the Xbox One and PlayStation4 both have some similarities in their hardware like their HDD, Audio/Visual output, and Wi-Fi. The differences in hardware of the Xbox One and PlayStation4 are the GPU and CPU. The PlayStation4’s GPU has 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD Radeion Graphics Core Next Engine which is better than the Xbox One, the PlayStation4’s CPU is a Low Power x86-64 AM “Jaguar” , 8 Cores which is slightly better than
Nintendo's success in the home console arena can also be attributed to the rigidity of the gaming industry and culture within which its two main competitors, Sony and Microsoft, adhered themselves. Traditionally, the norm was for new home console systems to be marketed primarily based on improved audiovisual capabilities. Indeed, the original PlayStation was a huge win for Sony, and to the detriment of Nintendo, in large part because of its more lifelike 3D graphics. Note that Nintendo was no different with earlier iterations of its systems, though perhaps to a lesser extent than its competitors. However, with this specific generation, namely against the release of the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, both of which touted high definition capabilities, the Wii was unmistakably the sub performer in terms of graphics. Its competitors had no choice but to follow the dominant ideology, which...
The Microsoft Xbox has powerful components within that overpower any other console, including its CPU or it’s Central Processing Unit. The Xbox runs an Intel Pentium III 733-megahertz (MHz) processor. This is a lot more powerful than Nintendo Gamecube’s IBM Power PC 485-megahertz Gekko chip processor and even lower the Sony Playstation 2’s 128 bit “Emotion Engine” which is clocked around 294-megahertz. A few more components that make this console far superior to any other is its graphics processor, or GPU, which stands for Graphic Processing Unit. Microsoft had teamed up with Nvidia to create a chip that was made especially for the Xbox. The computer-based company ‘s 250-megahertz chip gives the console an amazing resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 125 Million Polygons per Second. Sixty four- (64) megabytes (Mb) of DDRam back all this up, for great non-glitch games and smooth running. Nintendo also has a computer-based company teaming up with them to create the 162-megahertz ATI Flipper GPU Chip. This chip can only handle around 6-12 Million polygons a second and is only backed up by 43-megabytes of DDRam.
...lah S.). The PlayStation 4 released November 15 of 2013 and had preorders larger than launch sales of Sony’s PlayStation 3 at one million orders. The people have waited almost 7 years for a brand new gaming console. That 7 year wait has tremendously increased the demand for the new console.

Playing games on the PC for the first time is like discovering an amazing artist that you have never heard of before. Now, PC gaming is not perfect and there are crashes. However, it is very easy to fix those crashes. I remember when I bought Fallout 3 and it continually crashed after about 15 minutes of playing it. Once I lost my patience and looked up why it kept crashing, it was very simple to fix. The only thing I had to do to fix the problem was change the resolution on my game to one that suited my laptop screen. The game has not crashed since then. The next thing that proves the superiority of the PC is the customization that is present. I can build a PC from the ground up, if I want to. Building a PC is easy, since all I need to do is buy parts and assemble the computer. Building a computer means that I could choose the exact parts I want to improve performance. Another way to customize PC gaming is the ability to mod, or modify games in some way. Mods can make a game easier or harder, or just change one thing within the game. The last thing about PC gaming is the prices of the games. The prices of the games are about the same as the consoles, however, there are more sales online than in stores and there is no scarcity with digital games. There are also no microtransactions in PC gaming. Consoles will charge for additional online features for their special memberships. Those extra charges are not
Before moving into the dorms at Michigan State, I had to do a lot of shopping in preparation for the transition. Prior to moving in I knew my room needed at least one console for the four of us (I live in a quad). Since none of my three roommates had one I decided to get one off amazon. It was nice in the summer having one, but now it was more of a necessity. Recently, the price of a new PS$ dropped to $300. It is an e...
Hello gamers! I'm Andrew McNeil, and today, there are a few facts you should know. With a new generation of video game consoles, I’m sure you are all eager to buy the best system. The problem is, (point towards crowd) you can’t decide which one to actually buy. That’s why reviews were invented: to let people know what the best game system is.
They have built several new groups of customers, which constitutes as casual gamers; however, it damaged their biggest customer base, hard-core gamers. Additionally, Nintendo priced out their biggest competitors with a lower console price of $250. The company must now figure out how to satisfy all these different customer groups with one new console while staying at a reasonable price. They must also recover losses from 2010 and 2011 and achieve a 20% increase in market share over the next 5 years.
