The author of “World of delight” is Hiro Arikawa who is a light novelist in Japan. She got the tenth annual Dengeki Novel Prize in 2003 for “Shio no Machi: Wish on My Precious”, and it was her debut work. She became famous when some of her works were made into movie or TV drama, for example, “Hankyu Densha”, “Kencho Omotemashika” and so on. Especially, she was catapulted into fame by “The Library War (Toshokan Senso)” series. It won the first prize of entertainment for the first half of 2006 chosen by Hon no Zasshi's, and also won the fifth in the Honya Taisho for that year in 2007. Other than that, she got the 39th Seiunsho Japanese novel prizes for “The Library War” series, BOOK OF THE YEAR 2011 by DA VINCI for “Kencho Omotenashika”. However, I feel that there is still some femininity in terms of word choice or characteristic of the main character. I feel that the choice of the word or connection of the scene is sensitive. And the many of her work’s plot are stereotypical love story that finish with happy ending after many difficulties or conflicts. Additionally, I feel that the author focuses on describing the situation or the character’s feeling fully with using metaphor or word that describes the emotion. I think it makes us easy to be empathic and be absorbed the novel. In that point, the author is expressing femininity in many ways. I often read novel or manga that is written by female author. I think the main reason why I choose female author is I feel less uncomfortableness than male author. It is easy to share same feeling or to be empathic with the character because the word choice or situations are relatively real or similar to our real world’s situation when the author is female, especially when it is love
