Work Experience I absolutely had no idea what I wanted to do for work experience. I had about three different options, but I always had a negative thoughts. One was to work in a bank of any sort. Well, the good things were that I think it would be fun and it does make you look smart and important. The negatives where that, to be totally honest, I was really good at money! I wasn't that smart in maths and was also a bit careless. I thought that working in a bank would make me have big responsibilities (like handling money or talking to customers) too big that I couldn't even handle. There was no way that I was going to go to a bank and make a total klutz of myself. All I thought about when I heard "money" was spend, spend, and spend! Two was working in a primary school. I already had two brothers that drove me bonkers, and they were in primary school, what was I going to do with more than a dozen of them? I would go mad. The good things about working in a primary school were that I like little kids and helping them. It makes me feel important, knowing they would listen to me. The negatives were that, not all kids were good, they might give me a hard time and I would than be stressed out and make me lose my temper. Finally, working in a shop. I had a long think about that one. I didn't like the sound of me working in a shop, to be completely honest, anyone would agree with me. First, it's not like they would let me run the place and two, they won't put me behind a counter, after like, a day of knowing me, would they? I know what they would make me do. Clean and make me stock up the shelves when they've nearly run out of item... ... middle of paper ... ... I did do the placement for a week only; it's not always going to be this fun and easy as a teacher. I know sometimes it does get hard and children have a different attitude very week. Maybe I came in a good week. It was fun while it lasted, but I know people that actually work in primary school and they often come home with migraines or feel wear out. Teaching kids can be difficult, because sometimes they don't listen and you can't actually hit them or anything like that, you need patience. I would recommend this placement to any one who likes children and likes helping them out. I think it would be a good experience and it some how uses full. It can be a trying job, depending on what school you get into and what class you help. But it is a good placement. Good luck to anyone who wants a placement in the future!
