World War I began in July 1914 after Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was murdered. It began with two alliances; one with Great Britain, France and Russia creating the allies and the other one was with Germany, Austro-Hungarian Empire and Ottoman Empire, forming the Central Powers. During WWI over 15 million people died and many parts of Europe were destroyed. A lot of people doesn´t knows that agriculture was a really big problem during this period. When landowners went to war, they had to give the land to woman. In other words, woman saved the planet. If they didn´t did agriculture, there will be a lot of deaths because they would die of hunger. Russia doesn´t had any supply so they had to stop the war. During the WW1 the U.S. fed almost the entire Triple Entente showing the importance of a strong agriculture economy. The Woman Institute saved the world from running out of food. Woman solved this problem and we should be really thankful for them. In the other side, lands were damaged because of lack of attention and the landowners were so worried of their lands because they were at war. Woman had no other choice than start with agriculture because of the hunger problem. If they didn´t worked on agriculture, landowners and a lot of soldiers died. On of Russia biggest problem´s during the WW1 was that they runned out of food provision. They had to send food from other countries to Russia. This problem caused Russia to stop for a moment in the war. Also soldiers that came back from the war were injured and that was a big problem. One of WW1 biggest problems was agriculture. This topic was an essential part in WW1. If woman will not care about agriculture in those times, a lot of people will be dead.
