There are some american people say that we have full equality, but the United States doesn't have all the equality it says it has. The United States has some equality but it has some issues with it. Some U.S. Citizens can't get what everyone else gets because of their gender, religion, or even their sexuality. The United States could improve its equality and benefit people. Other people would disagree that the United States has all the equality that it needs and that women are pushing the equality too far where it will eventually become unequal. But women wouldn't be pushing it, if the United States made everyone completely equal, women wouldn't have to fight for the right. Then women wouldn't have to worry and be unhappy about all the protesting and riots for equality.
One of the reasons the united states does not actually fully have equality because women aren't allowed in the infantry. The government, parents, and other citizens are afraid the women would be sexually assaulted if they are allowed into the infantry. But just because the women want to become part of it, they should not be punished for something they know the consequences of and should not be punished for something they can’t have any control of. After the united states passed the law that same-sex marriage is legal, the government hasn't been giving people their marriage licenses just because of their religious beliefs, “But on June 29, three days after the U.S. supreme court ruled that same-sex marriage is legal in the United States, Davis stepped onto the nation's front page, saying her religious beliefs would not allow her the issue marriage licenses to gay couples”(Karaim). A senator would not give a women her marriage licenses because of her beliefs, after a law was passed saying that is was legal in the United States. Not only is the government not giving someone their licenses because of their religion but are also restricting people in public schools.
