Societies fall because of corrupt and bad leaders. The leader of Nazi Germany between about 1930-1945 was a very corrupt and evil leader. Although he made the society to be prosperous, he discriminated against his people. “As tyranny spread across the society, the leaders and their collaborators persecuted and murdered millions of other people” (Society one reading, final paragraph). This quote tells about the tyranny and the corrupt leader that was at the helm of Germany.
Obviously, Societies fall as a result of a corrupt government, Failing Social Structure, and Sickness. It is due to these factors that many great societies such as Greece, Rome, and the society depicted in the book Maze Runner fall. Corrupt leaders and the governments laws are a major factor as to why societies fall. The society depicted in Maze Runner was very top heavy in and outside of the maze, and mainly controlled by this association who went by the name of W.I.C.K.E.D. Nazi Germany fell almost because of the same thing, their leader hitler hungered for power and basically made it so whatever he said was law.The evidence of a collapsing social system is very evident throughout the story Maze Runner.

Hitler was a very troubled man because he grew upon the hatred of Jews, he also ‘brainwashed’ many people into believing his idea’s, took away all of Jews rights and citizenship, formed the Nazi Parties , and even killed non-Jews. Did Hitler invent the hatred toward Jews? No, Hitler built on and used anti-Semitic idea’s that already existed. He was an Austrian and grew up in Vienna where the mayor was extremely anti-Semitic and where the hatred toward Jews was widely spread. Hitler was genuinely influenced in Vienna by two political movements.
He was dealing with a massive war at the time and should of put all his energy and sources into it. He ultimately lost and killed himself leaving behind a mess for his country to deal with. Hitler was a selfish ruler who's greed and lust for power overtook the needs and well-being of his country and people, making him Germany’s worst leader.
