Should Social Media be granted to young children? Social Media is known for its ability to grasp the attention from the public through websites or application by creating, sharing, and participating in social networking. The beginning of technology instantly modified the 20th century after the first supercomputer that was created in the 1940s, which led to the birth of the Internet. Eventually, blogging was invented which helped the foundation of social media and grow in popularity. When term social media are announced websites such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are mentioned, and these social networks have an extensive impact on numerous millennials. Rodrigues goes into detail justify that 29% of teens using social media decreased their shyness and 20% indicated that it gained them self-confidence. In addition, the use of social media for young children prevents the feelings of awkwardness and anxiousness when creating a new relationship. Rodriguez also proclaims that social media allow the young children to feel connected and smart.
