Sports have an educational benefits so why are schools trying to cut sports out. The ConVal school district is deciding if they should cut out sports because they are too dangerous for the students. Sports can be seen in many different ways though they can be seen as a way to get in shape, or get away from school and hangout with friends, but some people think it is to dangerous. First off, every kid needs exercise and sports give them that and they can have fun doing it. ¨ We have an epidemic of obesity in this country, and sports is one of the best ways for kids to incorporate exercise in their lives¨. Parents shouldn't take their kids out of sports just because they think it's too dangerous because it is good for kids to be in sports they just need the right equipment to be safe. Another way for parents to keep their kids safe by making sure they have good coaches, the proper gear, and know the techniques for tackling and falling. If parents are going to complain that sports are too dangerous and that schools should not have them they should first make sure there kids has the proper stuff and techniques to be safe.
