Democratic People's Republic of Korea however we all refer to as North Korea.North Korea used to be part of a bigger country know as Korea until the Korean War, which was pretty much a civil war.The Korean War which took place from 1950 to 1953 was a 3 year military conflict between the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and People's Republic of China. The war began on 25 June 1950 and a formal agreement of warring parties to stop fighting was signed on 27 July 1953. The war is the reason why we have North Korea and South Korea.North Korea still send threats to South Korea through fax machines and Japan does not officially recognize North Korea.North Korea recently has the largest deposit of rare earth elements worth approximately 6trillion dollars and North Korea might be facing the worst epidemic of meth users.
