Why I Want To Pursue My Bachelor's Degree

Spending two years of studies in a foreign country has inspired and helped me in various ways to advance in life and academically. Obtaining an associate degree at my current community college has helped me gain basic skills in my field of study and has provided an opportunity for me to start to understand and relate to the American culture. As a result, I have become more encouraged to continue pursuing the next levels of my education, so that I will gain more skills and experiences, which are useful for life.

I am looking forward to transferring in order to advance academically and prepare for further academic progress, such as attaining a Master’s Degree and a PhD. Attaining a bachelor’s degree will enable me to be in a much better position to advance academically and in obtaining job opportunities. Through participating in extracurricular activities and projects, I will have an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience, especially, in researching technology, by looking at how it solves problems. For example, enhancing faculty projects in order to become familiar with the high-level research process. Exploring how my field of study relates to different aspects of life, including social, economic, political, and cultural impacts. Moreover, being able to relate with faculty members will help me to explore opportunities and the potential that I might have in my area of study and how I could explore them towards positively affecting my community. Additionally, I am looking forward to taking part in projects aiming at improving community lives. For instance, I hope to serve the community by getting involved in projects that create partnership and research opportunities for organizations to support the community through time and energy
