Multiple students have a passion for one specific academic subject area that they can excel in without trying. Some subjects come naturally such as Math and Science, others are learned such as Ceramics and Photography. My passion is for Film/Video production and I have furthered my interest in that subject by thinking how I can make a career in that field and how I can go to college and major it. In order to become a producer, I have found out from specific research that I need to complete 1-5 years of industrial experience while having a bachelor degree in film. It is possible to gain experience in the film industry by becoming an intern. The key skills for this career are to have Skills in critical thinking, writing, decision-making, time-management, monitoring, and active listening. After I am done with my responsibilities, I am able to focus on my writing and thinking of new ideas as my first screenplay. Inside the classroom, I can help other students tap into their creativity and explain how it can in their future careers. It also helps to imagine during class to cope with the soul-crushing boredom during school hours. During my years of high school, I have not been able to pursue my coursework at a higher level but I have found classes during the summer that can help me improve my weaker areas. After I graduate, I want to go to Cerritos and major in Film Production and have a minor in Culinary Arts. I honestly would want to go to a UCLA but I know I would not get accepted due to my grades and I have not completed my A-G requirements for the schools.
