When I was seven when i was watching the olympics with my mom and I was watching U.S.A playing soccer.It was Friday july 27 when I was watching and ever since then I wanted to go to the olympics and I want to become the best U.S.A soccer player ever to play in the olympics and i want to play against all of the different teams .

From the time that I could walk I had sports on my mind, walking around with a little baseball and bat or even a football. But as I grew up I found out there are even better sports than just your basic everyday high school events. The first one I seen was snocross, racing snowmobiles at high speeds with only one thing on your mind and that is to win. Soon after though came the introduction to the X-Games and it became my childhood dream to perform there with everyone screaming my name.
It all started freshman year of high school. I really wanted to get involved in some kind of sport or club. I couldn’t decide what to do. Many people said I should join the lacrosse team and my response was “I have never played before, how am I suppose to make the team”. I always had an interest in lacrosse however I was scared to go out and buy all the expensive equipment and not make the team.. I went home that night and asked my parents what I should do. My dad encouraged me to go out and try. He said it doesn’t hurt to try. That next morning of school, I raced to the athletic office and signed up for lacrosse, and when that bell rang after school I went to the lacrosse store nearest to me and bought all of the gear so that I could make the first tryout. The fist tryout was the day after I bought all of the gear.
I could come to a resort and strap in my bindings for fun, and competition, to put the adrenaline through my veins. I had dreamed of professionally snowboarding ever since beginning to tirelessly learn how to turn my snowboard down the bunny hill slope. This bunny hill slope once seemed to be as tall as a giant but now I found myself to be the man on top of the X- Games slopestyle course. Now I had won a gold medal and had become a big name in the snowboarding business. I went from being a kid with high hopes of being on top and showing the world that anything can be done if you put your mind to it. The sport of snowboarding is what truly makes me happy and competing in large competitions is what the sport is about. These competitions would be the drive for my experience in the terrain park with friends, or just trying to progress my skills on my own. I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Ever since I was a little girl watching the Peony Parade I looked up to the girls who participated in the Peony Pageant. I always told myself after watching that I wanted to be one of the girls who participated in the Peony Pageant, even if I made it or not, just auditioning means that I gave it a chance. I want to be one of the girls that the younger generation looks up to, like I looked up to the girls in the past years. I was always told growing up that I could do anything I put my mind to and this is one of many things I want to achieve.
One of my hopes is to someday visit every ballpark in the MLB. I am a big baseball fan I have played all my life and have come to love the game in a very special way. Some of the big fields I would like to go to are Citi Field in New York And Rogers Centre in Toronto as well as Marlin Park in Florida. This hope could become a reality it just costs a lot. Soccer is my passion, I love soccer with all my heart. But, I remember when I used to suck at it. I remember the first time I went to go try out for a club team, I wanted to quit playing right after that practice. Everyone was so good at the sport and I didn’t have any experience.
