Veterinarians are medicals professionals who care for animals. I am most definitely interested in this career. A person in Veterinary medicine will typically need an intense knowledge of science and a deep compassion for animals. I chose this career because of my love of both science and animals. Most Veterinarians own a private practice, making them their own boss. That would prepare me for the business world as well the medical world. It will also improve my communication skills because I will be talking to the owner of the pets. Another reason on why I want to be a Veterinarian is because it does not just benefits the animals but humans as well. Waldock 2 treat the injuries and illnesses of pets and other animals with a variety of medica equipment, including surgical tools and x-ray and ultrasound machines. They provide treatment for animals that is similar to the services a physician provides to treat humans. (Bureau)
