There are so many reasons that have inspired to become a teacher. When I arrived in the united states without a single clue on where life was taking me. School was a place I hate, because I did not understand what my peers were saying to me. There were days that I was teased because I could not understand what the teachers were saying to me. Thankfully my school had a Spanish speaking teacher that helped me a lot and translated to my parents every time that is was needed. Today, there are still many students who go through the same situation I went through. I want my students to value their education and value their parents. There are so many children in this world that wish they had the opportunity to go to school. There are so many students that cry when the school tells them they cannot attend school anymore, because their parents cannot afford. There are so many children who wished they had free public transportation. I have gone through some of these situations. At one point in my school career I was told that I could graduate kindergarten if my parents did not pay a fee that was past due. I want to help a student be become a better student and person by teaching them the important of learning how other people live and how much valuable school is. This is one of my biggest goals and I know that with time, I can accomplish. I want to be a teacher because I want to teach students life lessons and have fun learning.
