A nurse is defined as person whom is both formally educated and trained in caring for the sick and infirm; thus making the role a highly rewarded and greatly respected one, which very few look down upon.
I feel that this is an important role as everybody at some point in their lives has been witness to the workings of the NHS and it's staff; be that through illness, casualties,childbirth, medical assessments or even for just visiting purposes.
I would therefore be extremely honoured and privileged to become a nurse; since it is a role which people instantly recognise and approve of.
I see myself as a great candidate,as I believe that I hold many of the qualities that an excellent nurse should; alongside any of my experiences.
Firstly, as a mother I have developed in confidence and patience.Furthermore I feel that I have an inborn tendency to care for others like I would my own children.
