The fall of Rome started in 476 C.E Romulus the last of the Roman emperors in the which was overthrown by the Germanic leader Odoacer who became one of the first Barbarian rulers of Rome. The order of the Roman Empire had brought to western Europe for 1000 years was no more. But if the Romans kept Rome pure with just there their people, I believe that the fall of Rome wouldn't of ended the way it did. A reason why the fall of Rome happened is because of the constant wars they were having and the heavy amount of military spending. All of the constant warfare that was happening required heavy military spending, the Romans army became very over well stretched because they kept on needing more and more soldiers. As they kept needing more and more soldiers, they began to let other foreigns join the army. The ‘Mob’ and the cost of the gladiatorial games the cost of these games were made by the emperors, which means the state, corrupt politicians who sponsored the games support the ‘Mob’. There were also terrible disasters that happen naturally such as plagues, famine, and earthquakes that would occur. This all means that more spending to fix things had to happen on top of that when Rome didn't have a lot of money due to the huge amount of money going towards the army. These natural disasters did not happen often or frequently but they happen enough to be one of the reason for the fall of Rome. There is many reasons why the fall of Rome happened and occurred but theses are just a few that I think that mostly affected the Rome Empire. People still to this day have theories of why Rome when down hill and what exactly happened to it but till someone has a solid answer.
