What am I thankful for? I am thankful for many things, but I am extremely thankful for my cheer gym, Game Time. I am thankful for Game Time because I have many friends there. Some of my best friends are on my cheer team. They make me laugh and I always have fun at Game Time. When people were bullying me about cheering, people there made me feel better. It doesn’t matter what age you are, everyone is nice to you. I get to do what I like with people that I like which makes me feel very good. My coaches are all very nice and help me get better and help my team. If we can all work together we might be able to go to Disney World for a competition. I am most thankful for this right now because I am moving next year and this is the last
I can not thank you enough for such a great season! This cheer season definitely exceeded my wildest dreams for my first year of allstar cheerleading. Ever since I watched a video of Cheer Athletics Cheetahs in 2012, I knew I wanted to be an allstar cheerleader, but never thought it would actually happen. To be completely honest, the only reason my parents finally let me do allstar cheer was because of how bad my high school cheer team got with coaches not showing up, lack of dedication, and the way the GV community viewed cheerleading as a whole. In a way, I wish our high school program hit rock bottom way sooner so that I could have gotten a few for years in. I also can not thank you enough for being so understanding about the struggle of balancing two teams. I hated missing any practices for either team, but I felt especially bad for Bengals because my stunt group needed to practice the stunts a lot more. I know how rough it must have been not being able to put up one half of the pyramid and not having one stunt group full every other Thursday, and I can not thank you enough for being so understanding about it.
giving thanks. For the freedom earned, for the sacrifices made, and the dreams that we
This recognition I received in 2015 sets me apart from other cheerleaders. Cheerleading is my passion and something I hope to never stop doing. I hope that once my time comes to an end, as a cheerleader I have the opportunity to be a head coach. Since been awarded I have noticed that more cheerleaders regardless of age, or level have come to me as their mentor seeking out advice on cheerleading. I am glad that others see me as someone they can come to, to seek advice, because I have been in their positions before at one time or another. I love to help out others in any way possible especially when it comes to something I am very passionate about. Recently, I have been able to become an assistant coach and I feel that being looked at as a mentor helps me tremendously, because they know that I am there to help them in as much as possible and that I know what I am talking about when it comes to cheerleading. I hope that by the time I graduate I will have impacted in a positive way all of their lives as
I’m thankful for child labor reforms that were developed throughout history allowing me not to have to work in such harsh conditions. These reforms allow me to obtain an education to strive in society today.
Cheerleading has been a big part of my life. As my senior year winds down, it is one of the things that I will miss the most. If my best friend had not encouraged me to join, I don't know if I would have the confidence and self-assurance that I do today. Cheerleading has influenced my decision to join other activities and be active in school as much as I possibly can. Cheerleading has helped me grow from an awkward seventh grader to a well-rounded
I am very proud of all my achievements listed, but I am most proud of my achievements earned through my cheerleading career. I instantly fell in love with the sport of Allstar Cheerleading in the seventh grade after growing up as a competitive gymnast. Although before high school, I believe that it is worthwhile to mention the teams I was a part of in 2013. One of my teams won several province-wide and national competitions, including the CheerExpo National Championship, where we earned the second highest score of the entire competition with approximately 115 teams competing. In the same year, we also traveled to Ocean City, Maryland, where I competed at the Reach the Beach International Championship as a crossover on both high level teams.
While signing up to tryout for 8th grade cheer when I was in 7th grade, I never knew how much of an impact it would have on my life. I live for game days and the long bus rides just to cheer on our athletes. Cheer has very quickly became the biggest part of my life. Although it is a ton of fun, it comes with it’s challenges. My proudest accomplishment by far is making the varsity cheer squad.
I completely forgot about baseball in NYC after 9/11. That was an amazing moment. I myself am not a huge baseball fan, but remembering that moment gives me goosebumps. This example shows how many people watch sporting events and the impact that anyone involved in sports can have just by the sheer number of people
Who is someone you are thankful for having in your life and why are you thankful for them? Someone I’m thankful for is my boyfriend, Ozzy, because he is funny, caring, and kind. The first reason I’m thankful for Ozzy is because he is very funny. My second reason is that he is very caring. My final reason is that Ozzy is very kind. These are three reasons that I’m very thankful for Ozzy.
One person that I am truly thankful for is Thomas, my eldest brother. Although we don’t get along every day of the week, I wouldn’t know what to do without him. He set the bar for many things in my life, such as my academics, my sports, and my overall successfulness. One day, I was in the third grade, I came home crying- sobbing- an overall mess because I convinced myself I was failing to meet Thomas work ethic. My parents assured me I was fine and that I was just as smart, but ever since I always strived to be equal if not greater. He may not realize he does this, but he is the reason I am who I am. Even when I was having trouble with old friends he stood up for me and made it clear I was his kid sister and was not a force to be reckoned with. Thomas has made me strive to be great and has given me a sense of integrity. I have a feeling I’ll do great things, and I owe that all to
Lina asked me to fly her home for a feast, Vicki said I am her second daughter and should go to her family Thanksgiving dinner, Renee always gives me her love and hope I could go to FL..I am grateful for what I have in my life. Hope I will have my loved ones celebrate in my house next
What I am most thankful for is getting professional mental health help and let me tell you why. I've had OCD since I was a little child but around the year 2015 it started to become unmanageable. My parents had divorced after many unhappy years and my mother met my stepdad. After awhile of dating, my family and me moved into my stepdad's house. Our new house was an hour and a half away from our hometown and loved ones. In 2016, my habits and thoughts become worse. During my second semester at ECOT, I fell weeks behind and could not catch up. I had to work over school breaks and into summer to get all my tasks complete. 2017 was the worst of all three years. I became extremely debilitated by my disorder and the other illnesses it triggered;
I am forever grateful for the lessons I learnt, the people I met, the experience I gained and I now know what true love is. Gymnastics has made me into the person I am today. When something scares me I know how to conquer my fears, I know how to set goals, to deal with disappointment and I will always keep the leotards and tracksuits as memorabilia of a very special time in my life. I am not a quitter, I have left a
...s thank you to others makes them incredibly happy. We also must express gratitude for ordinary things such as a beautiful blue sky during the daytime or sparkling stars at night. Get in the habit of finding at least 10 things to be grateful for each day to increase your happiness level.
I am grateful for my life in many ways and for many reason, I was born 5 weeks premature and one of twins. Though my twin did not survive long enough for me to know him it gave me a purpose to try new things. Whenever I am scared of a new experience such as snow-boarding I think about how lucky I am to be alive and well. This thought helps me to spread my wings and embrace the unknown. Even simple things make me feel thankful, such as running in the rain or taking a walk with my dog or just a lazy Sunday afternoon with myself makes me think how great it is to be alive and here. I have always delight in the small moments in life and to think that they could never exist for me is depressing. Furthermore, being able to share my thoughts and feeling with people I love is something that brings me great joy.
