Uncharted 4: A Thief's End marks the debut of Naughty Dog's wildly popular Sony-exclusive series on the Playstation 4. In Uncharted 4, Nathan Drake reunites with his long-lost brother in order to track down a vast pirate fortune - by climbing old architecture, solving intricate puzzles, and murdering lots and lots of bad guys. Naughty Dog should be commended for pacing themselves initially, granting themselves the time to reintroduce returning characters, introduce new ones, and elaborate on the relationships between them surprisingly well - in particular with regards to the relationship between Sam and Nathan, and Nathan's marriage to Elena. And while Uncharted 4's narrative doesn't stray too far from what has worked in earlier installments, the added emphasis on characterization and tenuous interpersonal relationships makes it feel more real than prior entries in the series. Because while the surface-level globetrotting, treasure hunting shenanigans are executed splendidly, it's the multifaceted, flawed characters that elevate the narrative. Nowhere is this better exemplified than in the strained marriage between Elana and Nathan; while the two are obviously madly in love with one another, Nathan's lack of proper communication and longing for another adventure is poignant and

When the boys found the end of the island they saw mirages settling, and a lagoon. The main focal point of the island is the mountain that is jagged, and closest to the beach. The first mistake the boys made happened to be when they burned half of the island trying to create a fire signal; they also lost the boy with the mulberry birthmark. They allowed the fire to diminish while a ship was passing by, losing the opportunity to be rescued . The
With the start of a new generation, companies tend to think of it as a fresh start and a way to redefine platforms, brands and characters. Sony Computer Entertainment America saw fit to bring back one of the most beloved franchises in the history of PlayStation and give it a full PS4 makeover. Ratchet & Clank for the PS4 is an epic, hilarious, stunning and entertaining blast from the past, and hopefully this is but a taste of what has yet to come for the franchise.
Finally, the ship reaches this mysterious island that is said to have natives and an unknown creature inhabiting it. When the crew arrives at show the walk into a village because they hear sounds that resemble a ceremony. They quickly find out that they are unwelcome when the ceremony is abruptly stopped and the crew is confronted. The natives take and interest in Ann and try to make a trade for her. Obviously, the crew is unable to agree to this so they quickly retreat back to the ship.
This spectacular novel by William Golding makes the reader ponder what they would do in the kids’ situation. There are so many different choices and outcomes of being on the island. If you were on the island, would Ralph go insane? Would you be rescued within the first few days? Would you become a shameless monster and terrorize the settlement?
After turmoil erupts on the island, and Ralph is on the verge of being killed, a naval officer arrives on the island. Ralph is first unaware of the of the naval officer, “He staggered to his feet, tensed for more terrors and looked up at a huge peaked cap. It was a white-topped cap, and above the green shade of the peak was a crown, an anchor, gold foliage. He saw white drill, epaulettes, a revolver, a row of gilt buttons down the front of a uniform” (200). Once this uniformed (properly dressed) man arrives at the island, order is once again restored. The conflict and combat is immediately ceased. Once the naval officer asks who is in charge, Ralph claims authority over the boys without any questions.
The day the ship leaves the dock in search of whales, the men are trapped in a world gone mad with no escape. Ishmael, Starbuck, and Captain Ahab are all trapped in an unfortunate tragedy. Before boarding the ship, Ishmael saw a person on the dock beside the whaling boat. This person's name is Elijah, coincidentally sharing the same name as the prophet. Elijah hints to Ishmael to turn back from this voyage while he still has time.
The short and sweet of it is that Rise of the Tomb Raider would definitely have made my top-ten list of 2015 had I played it last year. With its simply gorgeous design and enjoyable action-adventure gameplay, Rise of the Tomb Raider is, in my opinion, one of the best games released in 2015. I hope Naughty Dog are paying attention because Crystal Dynamics just set the bar for what we ought to expect from Uncharted 4. Thank you for the, as always, amazing Christmas gifts Queen
