Recommended: Essays on diversity in schools

Who am I, I am Aaliyah Ellerbee an 8th grade student at Harambee Charter School. But this doesn’t really define me who I am as a person. I am just a normal teen who enjoys school, receiving outstanding grades and bio-engineering. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I am an African American Muslim young lady. I have a younger sibling, were 4 years apart. I have fun, loving parents who are always there for me. After 13years on this planet I still haven’t figured out who I really am. After going class to class, meeting new people I still can’t pinpoint exactly “who I really am.” In school I like going above and beyond on projects, test and more. Also, staying on honor roll I am also interested in math and science at school. I would like to attend this high school because I’m very interested in the extracurricular activities the school offers. I enjoy playing basketball, soccer and running track. Even though I am not on actually team I enjoy participating in these sports at school. I want to try a lot of new things in high school. I want to go to this school because of the accomplishments I can achieve. I also want to attend this high school to have a great experience. I want to be challenged by the work so I can work harder than ever. So, I can work my way up to become a successful bio-engineer and have plenty of college options. Another reason I would like to attend your high school next year is because you have an incredible and challenging curriculum. I have gone to a few schools, and none of the school were complicated or complex. I don’t want to be smarter that’s not the reason I would like to attend your school I want to be challenged. I am only saying that I would... ... middle of paper ... ... high school are many things such as; good grades(honor roll & distinguish honors), make as many friends as possible, do my best in every class, play on at least one sport team and never be afraid to say what I think also join a science and math club. For me to be able to receive great grade I will have to study and focus more. To make a lot of friends I just have to be myself and don’t be someone I’m not to fit in. I want to play many sports and high school is a great place to start. I always wanted to be on a volleyball, basketball and track & field team. I’m strong minded and I like to debate to get my point across. I would like to join a science or math club because, I’m very interested in science. Also I love math I like be challenged and competing when it comes to my work. I need someone to compete with so who ever does better on test we can help each other.
