The Super Bowl brings in a lot of fans from all around the country, it costs a lot of money to go and be at it. From the transportation to the game day parking, it can cost a lot but the experience of actually going to the Super Bowl is what makes it all worthwhile. Not only that, but it can finally be crossed off your bucket list.
A huge thing to figure out about the Super Bowl is how much it would cost just to be there, you must first pay for a plane ride there. A plane ride can cost a lot of money, I suggest that since the Super Bowl costs so much without transportation, that you do not get a first class ride, that can cost up to double a normal plane ride. The cheapest airline to go from Spokane to Minneapolis is the Delta airlines.

You also want to find a great tailgating spot. To park at the Super Bowl you have to pay 100-200 dollars. An average Super Bowl ticket can be about $4000. That would not be the closest up best seat because the price depends on the seating , it would also not be at a place where you couldn't do anything just an average ticket and an average area. The concessions at the Super Bowl are very expensive compared to a normal football game. For example a footlong hot dog at the Super Bowl is $10 and a normal hot dog is $8, a 16 oz Bud Light Beer is $12, a 32oz soda is $11 (but comes in a souvenir Super Bowl cup), a soda and pretzel combo is $17 (that means a pretzel is about $6), a burger is $16, a sandwich is $17, a bottle of water is $6, and fries are $7. A regular 16oz Beer is 5-7 dollars which is a huge difference from a “Super Bowl Beer”, another difference is a regular hot dog is only 5.75 not a huge difference but it still …show more content…
The first ever Super Bowl believe it or not wasn’t a gigantic celebration, not many people even knew about it, but if it werent for that first Super Bowl I don’t know what I would be doing on that big Sunday. The First 2 Super Bowls were actually called the Nfl-Afl World Championships, they later at the 3rd Super Bowl named it the Super Bowl. Super Bowl I (1) was won by the Green Bay Packers with their coach Vince Lombardi.

The Dallas Cowboys, America’s football team, one of the most well known professional football franchises in the sport’s history. The Cowboys own five super bowl titles, which were won in ’71, ’77, ’92, ’93 and ’95. They are also home to 19 renowned individuals who have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame including standout football stars Tony Dorsett, Emmit Smith, and Troy Aikman. Established in 1960, the Cowboys have been a dominating force on the field and still continue to produce to this day. Forbes wrote, “The Cowboys franchise value reaches over 1.85 billion and are listed as the third most valued sports team in the world”, (Page 1). With all of this hype and world wide recognition the powerhouse from Dallas needs a venue just as prominent as the team itself as well as having the capability to hold all the weight the Cowboys name carries.
First of all, the league will succeed because it has been geared towards the fans from the beginning. In contrast, the NFL only seems to care about its premadonna, million dollar superstars. Chuck Miller, a columnist for Football Digest, points out the perfect timing for the league. It starts up right after the Super Bowl and ends right before the basketball and hockey postseasons (58). The XFL has implemented many new rules to increase the excitement of the game. No fair catches, no kicking for PATs, and no “safety” rules to protect the quarterback are just a few of the rules changed in hopes of creating a faster more competitive game. Secondly, there are cameras and microphones everywhere, including on the benches, in the huddles, and all over the field. This will give the fans a new and different perspective than the average NFL game. The locker rooms at half time, a referee’s huddle, and even a player’s brutal taunts to the opposing team which are usually off limits to the average fan add to the thrill and emotion of an XFL game. Also, the price of an average XFL ticket is around a reasonable twenty-five dollars. These cheap tickets to a new and certainly exciting professional football league have many people believing this is truly fan-based entertainment.
The ticket price range at Disney World is ranged from one hundred to over eight hundred dollars. Shown on the Disney World website, the annual passes are eight hundred, and the daily tickets are one hundred dollars per ticket. The price of tickets are much more expensive for non-residents of Florida. Not to mention, purchasing a plane ticket to Florida can add more to the bill. The food prices at Florida are expensive too. Tuttle, a journalist, mentions, “Food easily costs over $10 per person, per order even at Disney's to-go type restaurants, and sometimes over $50 per person for special meals hosted by characters like Ariel and Winnie the Pooh.” (par.4). Hotels at Disney World cost around one thousand dollars a night. Souvenirs can add an extra thirty dollars. On an empty stomach, Disney world serves unique food. Przygoda, a student at university South Carolina, shows a mouthwatering dessert sold at Disney World, “Kitchen Sink.” (par.2). The Kitchen Sink dessert contains a bowl of ice cream and whip cream with loads of cherries on top. Regardless of the price of the park, Disney World brings smiles to kids all over the world with their live Disney characters, and rides. Disney World holds four parks that total to over fifty rides. Porter, a journalist, shows, “If you are visiting for exactly four days you can hit every park giving each its own designated day.” (par.4). It takes more than two days to enjoy all four parks at Disney world, but perhaps even more. The parks also allows families to take pictures with Disney characters walking around the

...nderstand and appreciate the games my dad and the rest of my male family members have been watching for years, I became that much closer with all of them. As John Madden said “The turkey brings the family together, but the football keeps them together” (www.espn.com). As a tradition Thanksgiving’s football watching extravaganza has become an occasion I have begun to look forward to for months. After spending this great tradition with my father and my family those geezers are looking a lot younger.

It is an important moment in our game. We want to honor our flag and our country, and our fans expect that of us. We also care deeply about our players and respect their opinions and concerns about critical social issues. The controversy over the Anthem is a barrier to having honest conversations and making real progress on the underlying issues. We need to move past this controversy, and we want to do that together with our
As far back as I can remember, every year, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends would gather at my family’s home to watch this event called the Super Bowl. It was something that could not be missed, because if you did, you were considered a lost cause. Everyone feels the need to belong. Some people find the answer to fulfill that need in sports. In the United States, the go-to sport is football.
