Ethics were put into place to be able to do the right thing in certain circumstances in order to maintain an honest and fair society. Overall, it is extremely important to realize the central purposes for ethics, otherwise the morals that a person follows may be flawed because they cannot see the bigger picture at hand. We, as American citizens, must prioritize the morals that are already inside of us to be able to determine right from wrong in our own ways. Subjective Relativism helps us to figure out that we are our own person and each have morals to live by as individuals.
